The Journey of 4876.50 Miles

Looking across the ocean in Vero Beach, I'm aware of how far I've come - both figuratively and literally - from my hometown Berlin in Germany. The distance measures 4876.50 miles, but what's truly interesting about Florida, and Vero Beach in particular, is that it's not uncommon for people to have moved here from somewhere else.
